This page sets out who we are, our regulatory status, the nature and limits of what we do, and how we are paid. It is a formal disclosures statement and should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Our regulatory status

United Kingdom. Private Hedge provides institutional-grade risk analytics and information for private investors. This service does not involve any regulated activity under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 — we do not manage money, advise on investments, deal, or arrange transactions. For that reason, Private Hedge is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority in respect of the Service, and you will not find the Service on the FCA register. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office for data protection (registration ZC174437).

European Union. Private Hedge does not provide investment advice under MiFID II. We do not assess the suitability or appropriateness of any investment for your personal circumstances. Risk-monitoring services are based on portfolio data you provide and on historical and modelled market data. You retain sole responsibility for all investment decisions.

United States. Private Hedge is not a Registered Investment Adviser. Nothing we provide is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. Risk analysis is for informational purposes only and is based on historical data and modelled scenarios that may not reflect future market conditions.

3. What we do — and what we do not do

What we do. We consolidate the portfolio you connect or enter, calculate risk and performance measures (including Expected Shortfall, Stressed Expected Shortfall, stress tests, risk-return measures and benchmark-relative performance analysis against a relevant peer benchmark), monitor them against limits you set, and report them to you — with, where you purchase one, a private consultation with a risk manager. The monitoring platform is launching in Q4 2026; until then, the product available to purchase is the private consultation, and the subscription plans shown on our website are not yet available to buy.

What we do not do. Private Hedge does not provide investment advice or personal recommendations; does not manage your money or your portfolio; does not hold, custody, receive or control your assets or money; and does not execute, arrange or transmit any transaction. We are not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, financial adviser or asset manager. The full statement of these boundaries is in Section 3 of our Terms of Service.

Your decisions are your own. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and should seek independent professional advice if you are unsure whether an investment is suitable for you. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.

4. How your assets are protected

Your brokerage connection is read-only, made through our connectivity provider SnapTrade. We can see your positions and prices; we can never move, trade or withdraw your assets. Your brokerage login credentials are held by SnapTrade and your broker's own systems, not by Private Hedge. Because we never take custody of, or control over, your assets or money, we do not hold client money and the Service does not give rise to client-money or custody obligations.

5. Data, calculations and accuracy

The risk and performance measures we display are modelled estimates, derived from the portfolio data you provide and from independent market data (principally end-of-day prices and reference data from EODHD). Prices, valuations, benchmarks and historical data may be delayed, estimated, incomplete or inaccurate, and our calculations are based on historical data and modelled scenarios that may not capture all future market conditions. You should independently verify any figure that matters to you and should not treat any value we display as guaranteed or definitive. Our methodology is documented separately and is available for you to review. Any portfolio information you provide for a consultation is used only to perform that consultation, is stored securely, and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. How we are paid, and our independence

Private Hedge is independent and conflict-free by design:

Our only commercial relationship in respect of the Service is with you, the customer.

7. Complaints

If something has gone wrong, please tell us — our full complaints procedure, timescales and the options available to you if you are not satisfied are set out in the Complaints section of our Terms of Service. In summary: email complaints@privatehedge.co; we aim to acknowledge within one business day and respond substantively within seven.

8. Which country's rules apply

Private Hedge is established in the United Kingdom and serves customers in the United Kingdom, the European Union and the United States. This page describes our position under UK law, with the EU and US framing set out in Section 2. Where the law of your country gives you stronger protections, those protections apply. Our Terms of Service set out the governing law and where you can bring a claim.
